Deuce is a tennis scoreboard for Apple Watch with an iPhone companion app. It keeps the score, the server and the sets during a match, and stores your match history and statistics. It is published by Dr Edward Halvey, Subiaco, Western Australia (the developer).
Nothing. The app has no server, no account, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party software development kits. The developer never receives, sees or stores any information from the app. The App Store privacy label for Deuce is "Data Not Collected".
The app stores, on your Apple Watch and your iPhone only, the information you enter: your name, the names of opponents and doubles partners, the format of each match, and the point-by-point record of each match with its date and duration. This data is kept in the app's own storage on each device. Finished matches and your settings are exchanged between your watch and your iPhone using Apple's Watch Connectivity, which runs only between your own paired devices. The app never uses iCloud or any other cloud service.
On Apple Watch, Deuce can run a tennis workout for the duration of a match so that the scoreboard stays on screen and the match is recorded in the Fitness app. If you allow it, the app writes each match as a Tennis workout to Apple Health, and reads your heart rate and active energy during the match to show them on the scoreboard. This data is handled by Apple Health on your devices; the app does not store its own copy and it never leaves your devices through the app. You can decline the Health permission, turn the workout off in the app's Settings, or change access at any time in the Health app on your iPhone. Health data is never used for advertising, marketing or any purpose other than the app's own function.
Match history is kept until you delete it. You can delete a single match by swiping it, or everything at once with "Delete all matches" in Settings on the iPhone. Deleting the app deletes all of its data on that device. Workouts saved to Apple Health are managed and deleted in the Health app.
Deuce does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children.
